where it all started
I got my first dog in 1998. My mother wanted to have a Briard but she preferred the smaller breeds. She found Schapendoes nice and that’s how we decided to get one. Kepe charmed us with his chocolate eyes but he wasn’t the easiest puppy to have as a first dog. Kepe was very purposeful and offered lots of challenges for the new-coming dog owner.
I took up agility with Kepe when he had turned one – and that’s what he loves the most. We also took part in a few official competitions.
In 2004 we got our second dog, a Bearded Collie called Helga. With her we took part in a few dog shows but unfortunately she turned up to be too shy. Helga started agility in summer 2008.
I’ve dreamed about owning a kennel for my dog since I was a little girl. In 2009 I finally got my own kennel name Black Quebec’s. In the same year we got our second Bearded Collie, Luna, from Poland. Luna was a little angel with her lovely temperament.
